How to get there

Loud, close and convenient! Szczecin is a well-connected point on the map of Poland – perfect for a festival weekend. Train, FlixBus, or maybe your own four wheels? We have gathered all the most important information about transport in one place.

All roads lead to Szczecin

Only 1.5 hours from Berlin! Expressways, the nearby Goleniów airport and extensive rail and bus infrastructure make getting to the Hells Bells Festival quick, easy and hassle-free, no matter where you’re coming from.

Expressways: Szczecin is mainly served by the A6 (motorway connecting to the German motorway network, access from Kołbaskowo) and the S3 (southbound — Gorzów Wielkopolski, Zielona Góra). The S10/S3 exits lead to the city centre; good local connections via provincial roads facilitate access from the region.

Nearest airports: Szczecin-Goleniów Airport (SZZ) — regular and seasonal domestic and international connections; Berlin Brandenburg (BER) — international flights with an extensive network of connections, accessible by bus/train or car; alternatives: airports in Poznań (POZ) and Szczecin approx. 2–3 hours away, useful for low-cost connections.

Rail connections: PKP Intercity and regional transport (Polregio, Koleje Zachodniopomorskie) provide direct trains to Warsaw, Poznań, Wrocław, Gdańsk and regional connections to Koszalin, Stargard and other cities. There are also international and cross-border bus and rail connections to Berlin (regional and IC/EC connections on selected routes).

Nearest ports: Passenger ferries connecting to Sweden and Denmark are available in Świnoujście.

Distance from Berlin: approx. 140–160 km (depending on the route) — about 1.5–2 hours by car or bus; rail/regional connections between Berlin and Szczecin take a similar amount of time, making Berlin a convenient arrival option.
